Skittles evening Saturday 18th
March
This
was a successful and enjoyable evening. Thirty one people attended with £113
raised through contributions and the raffle. It was noted that although hire of
the hall is cheaper at Upton, the skittle set used at
Hagbourne Hall gives a better game.
Treasurer’s
Report
The
current balance is £2002.53. Coffee
mornings held by the Village History Group and Val Walton raised a total of £292.00.
Two more coffee mornings are being planned by Betty and Marion.
Triplets
Members
agreed to give £1000 to Julia and the triplets from the Village Association. In
addition the Tyrrell Trust is awarding a grant of £200.
Madge Trophy
Judging
will take place in June, the date to be determined according to the judge’s
availability.
Potential
judges suggested for this year are Nick Hards, Carol Hackett and Roy Dodds.
