Hagbourne Garden Club

Hagbourne Garden Club meets on the fourth Thursday of each month (except August and December) at 7.30pm in East Hagbourne Village Hall unless otherwise indicated in the programme. Coffee is served from 7.00pm. Events include talks, slide shows, demonstrations, plant sales, garden visits and occasional seed distributions.

Thursday 22 January
An illustrated talk by Jim Osbourne on ‘The National Trust Gardens of Oxfordshire.’

Thursday 26 February
Dr. Michael Keith-Lucas of Reading University, an authority on natural history as well as horticulture, will be giving a presentation entitled ‘Flowers and the Birds and the Bees.’

Thursday 26 March
AGM, followed by a talk on ‘Spring Bulbs,’ by John Graham, of Steventon Road Nurseries, East Hanney. Perennials and bulbs for sale.

Thursday 23 April
Don Everritt, who has visited the club several times over the years, will be telling us everything we need to know about ‘The Flower Arranger’s Garden.’ Plants for sale.
